Every mom close to me was a single mother and has multiple kids. I have one child (she turned 2 months this week!) and a supportive husband. They make fun of me when I ask for help, and say "when I had so-and-so, I did all this on my own! I didn't have help!"
I hate feeling inadequate because I ask for help.

my mil does that when I complain about my husbands schedule and doctor appts not working together. she says that my FIL never went to them with her. that just means my husband cares a bit more. I have a right to complain. he got me pregnant he is in this all the way! I'm sorry that some people have to go it alone but that doesn't mean we need to watch what we say and not ask for help.

don't..... it is VERY nice to have someone to help you when you are a new mom and they are still tiny.... it's a scary time and everyone needs support. 90% of those girls I BET had their parents to help...... soooo they can shut their mouth lol
