Yes....it's not the best thing to use but is sometimes given for bad cases of yeast especially when someone has recurring infections.

As long as its a one time use, it's usually OK

@arivera64, I'm just allergic to the cream one. It makes me have contractions. They didn't even have me come in to check if I have an infection they just prescribed it. I'm starting to think this OB is all sorts of backwards.

They should always check to make sure. If your symptoms aren't really bad you could always try using some coconut oil down there. Coconut has natural antifungal prooperties. Use that after washing with a drop of the ph balance vagisil wash. I do this one to 3 times a day when i have a mild infection. I tend to get them frequently and try to avoid using pills and creams so frequently.

I took it during my pregnancy. I kept getting infection after infection and then yeast infections. The pros outway the cons. Trust me.

Also she/he wouldn't have prescribed it without knowing it was ok. I was prescribed some things and called back to make sure they were 100 ok to take for the infections. Of course they told me it was ok. To stop reading online.
