Is anyone else having a hard time with your husband or significant other not being excited about your first pregnancy?! I'm 15 weeks (after 2 miscarriages) and I can't wait to have my first child, it's what I've always wanted in life!! (People told me 10 years ago that I acted like a mom haha). And I'm aware that having baby is not the greatest thing in the world to my husband but hell, 6 years ago on our initial dates you hash out what you want and are looking for in a mate --- likes dogs, wants kids, etc. And after 6 years of living together, 2 years of being married, and the whole 9-yards I would expect more from him. I think it's one thing to have a surprise pregancy and understandable freak out, but we've been together for so long and have talked kids so much, it was inevitable. I'm only hoping he will change once baby comes but I have this fear that he's not the family man I thought he was going to be. I've had a few talks with him and he claims he's excited but I think things are falling apart before baby is even here. What do I do?

after two miscarriages, I understand the feeling of not being excited. My husband was the same way after my MC, of course we wanted our son but being scared and on edge the whole pregnancy left us not feeling excited. more like can this be over with already. But as soon as my little boy was born my grown ass husband bawled and turned into a ball of mush. he's excited, he just doesn't know how to show it.

what she said^^^ some men are calm in situations and we think they don't care, but they do, he loves you and that baby! yall are his world believe it or not!! Men are so complicated!
