Need your advice!!!
My husband's work people threw a baby shower for us and people who works for him that are part time even got us generous gifts. I haven't even met most of them before... should I be sending them some sort of small gift as "thank you"...? None of the gifts were anything fancy just diapers, clothes, toys, blankets, etc but my husband tells me they don't make much money and they aren't even my friends or family... I didn't even send thank you notes to my friends or family after their baby shower....
Maybe bring something (food or sweets) to the entire office...?

I would send thank you cards and make something for the office. Just because their your husband's co-workers and it's good to show them you appreciate what they gave you.

I told my friend my mom wants to throw me a baby shower and write on the invite "monetary gifts only" and he told me that people aren't trying to pay for my "gas bill" I'm offended because a lot of money goes into a baby shower, and if you're gonna give me a 10$ blanket from Ross that I probably won't even use it's a waste. I rather use those 10$ for my honest company diaper subscription.

So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy.
