Okay, so my son is 6 months old & ever since he has been born he has slept with me. Yes, I do know you are NOT suppose to. I've tried to ease him to his crib but he just refuses, once he is put down by himself his wakes up within 10 minutes or less! Someone please tell me what I can do to get him to sleep without me!
We let our babe CIO for bedtime and one of his AM naps. He's almost 4 months old and been doing it for about a week now. Tonight he put himself down in about 15 mins. We still cosleep for some of his naps and when daddy is gone hunting. I don't know anyone who has had issues with cosleeping. It is hard to transition them though when you are ready to have your bed back.
You know how defax or whatever says not to put a crib bumper on the crib (atleast where im from) because of "suffocation", well usually when I put him down I'll walk out and wait a minute at the door, and when I hear him cry I wait about 2 more mins and next thing I know I see his arm caught up through the cracks of the crib. Its crazy cause he could break his arm not being able to get his arm from being in between it. It really scared me to even put him in the crib period without a bumper. @zaysmomma
I've put blankets under the sheet, I've tried a little bear for him to hold onto, I've even tried covering him with a warm shirt that I've worn.. He refuses to everything it's so complicated! @amirandagarcia7
yeah, I was told the same thing by pretty much whoever decided to say anything. I used to sleep hard before I had a baby, and of course I was scared several times when sleeping with him! I wake up easily to the slightest noise, and tbh I hate it. For 6 months now, I DEFINITELY regret sleeping with him lol! @meandmydaughterjamilliya
I heard using an old sock filling it with rice and heating it up for just a little bit and then putting it next to them helps them think you are near them because of the warmth, also your bed is probably more comfy than the crib. We had to tuck a very soft and fluffy blanket that smells like me in her crib and after that she went down easier. It took a while but she almost sleeps through the night now.
Oh yesss lol my son is almost 8 months and has no bumpers either for that reason but every time I go in there his leg or arm is stuck and he's the opposite direction 😂🙄
