Hmmm try not to stress. They sent me to a specialist without warning and I didn't find out till afterwards that he was a specialist for high risk pregnancies. (Turned out I wasn't) I think they keep quiet if they're not certain so not to worry you in case it's nothing. Try to relax, dr.s aren't perfect which is why they're sending you to get a second look. It's just to be on the safe side of things. Sending you good vibes! Keep us posted
I guess there is a problem with the cord but won't tell me. the tech came back in the room after leaving for 20 minutes worth the doctor. she looked like her dog just died. the look on her face made me worried not to mention she did not speak a word to me or even look at me one time after returning to the room
they did not give me the name. just told me what hospital to go to and what department
@singleandexpecting, that's odd! They usually tell you everything. Have you googled the specialist to see what he/she looks for??
I'm just confused and worried, had an ultrasound yesterday for.my 20 week. they told me the gender them went extremely silent, something is wrong and no one will tell me what it is, not the tech, or the doctor at the hospital. not my obgyn, or my primary... no one will tell me what is going on. just sending me to a specialist of some sort tomorrow morning.
it's scary he says he can't promise that the baby will be okay. I was so happy to find out if was pregnant because I was told it wasn't possible for the longest time. now this... I don't know what I'd do If something happened. it's hard enough the father isn't in my life and wants nothing to do...and my family wants to take control. I feel completely helpless.
