If you have just recently had a baby how long should you wait to have another?

I ended up pregnant again when my son was only 2 months old. In my opinion it was too soon, now I have complications. My pregnancy is high risk. I'm not aloud to carry anything over 5lbs. Can't walk too much. I'm in constant pain. And at around my 6th or 7th month of my pregnancy I will be out on bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy. My doctor said the reason for my complications is because my uterus wasn't fully healed.
