so I have a question for all you momma's, I want to try and start potty training my daughter Gracie who turned 1 in September but I don't know how to go about starting it or how I can get her to let me know she's gotta go without having her diaper on. as of right now I keep her in her diaper cuz Im nervous if I take her diaper off she will pee or poop everywhere lmao please help me out here I just hate spending all this money on a huge box of diapers when I know I can just get her potty trained.

Try taking her every 15 minutes and when she goes to the bathroom have a prize for her each time so she know she is doing a great job. I use to use fake tattoos for my kids and stickers to put on their potty and they did amazing. And when you put her in a diaper put her underwears on first than her diaper. The feeling of her underwears being wet she isn't going to like she that also helps her to remember she has to use the potty. Good luck, I hope this helped a little

Set a timer and take her every 20-30 minutes...it's time consuming, but it works. Just have to be super consistent. Eventually, with repetition, she'll get it :) @gracie0922

#mombassadorchat Moms, Done with diapering? Today we're chatting all things potty training with @smilingwithmyawesome4kids, who is a mombassador and admin of the very popular potty training group in the app. Share your potty training stories, ask questions and share tips on this post. @smilingwithmyawesome4kids will also answer any questions! Here's her bio and general tips: Hello I am Ceiamaria I am a stay at home Mother to 4 children ages 12,8,7 and 11 months old. I am happily married for 12 years and we are still going strong. I am determined and driven for success FAILURE isn't an option for me. I potty trained my oldest at 9 months old. My 2 middle son's were more difficult they were between 18 months and 2 years old. My baby boy was showing interest in potty training, I decided to buy him a potty chair. Potty training tips 1.) Don't rush your child 2.)Don't yell at your child 3.) Don't punish your child for having accidents 4.) Don't give you child candy 5.) Don't compare other children to your child 6.) Do praise your child 7.) Clap your hands when your child goes to the potty. 8.)Take your child every 15-30 minutes to the potty 9.)Don't criticize your child 10.) I don't recommend pull ups but I don't bash mothers who decided to use them. 11.) Remember potty training is not taught in one day you have to be determined to potty train your child.
