Omg does anyone know of a cold medicine that you can take while pregnant?? Everything I'm reading is saying that phenylephrine and pseudoephedrine are not safe to take while pregnant but I just need some freaking relief😞 I have a horrible stuffy/runny nose, sinus headache and I can't sleep😒 HALP

I took robitussin at 9 weeks. Didn't know any better but my baby is completely heathy. My dr gave me that same piece of paper at 10 weeks and told me they were safe to take.

Tylenol cold! Only issue I had w it while pregnant is I felt like it wore off fast since it's not a very "strong" cold medication. I hope you feel better! I'm just now getting over a cold and now just praying that my 5 month old doesn't end up with one

you just have to be very cautious bc every pregnancy is different and every dr says different things. i drink dr pepper all the time bc i crave it. but also because Sprite Sierra mist 7 up anything like that makes me vomit idk why

@milam0926, I understand. that's not a problem. So far in my pregnancy every Dr is different there are some that say this is safe to take and there are some who say that its not safe to take and they are the same medicines. I just try to help other new moms out too. I have been given conflicting answers on different medicines.

I wouldn't take any cold medicine in the first trimester. None of it is safe. You can take delsm or just plain robitussion. I would try benedryl. At least it might help you not be as congested.
