I think it should, yes. Also maybe some gripe water? It like instantaneously calms my son down

it could, but when you go to change the baby's diaper don't secure the diaper right away, let his/her bottom vent for a while and I found that using butt/rash cremes only irritates them more because your not letting the rash heal and dry I just use powder, if it's unscented even better, I used cornstarch and it helped heal alot faster than rash cremes

@babymay2016 i don't have any atm😩 my poor lo is getting his 5th tooth down while having a rash. i can tell this one is painful cause he wouldn't even let me wipe him. boy did I stack that ointment on his pee pee. i gave him tylenol and he just cried and cried until it kicked in. i feel so bad i cant take the pain away faster

I used to let my baby go with no diaper for a bit. And cornstarch like mentioned does wonders.

My ex roomates son got it REALLY bad once and he eouldbt stop crying so when she wasn't home I put some cream on him and then I just let him play naked on a sheet for a while so he wouldn't pee on anything important. And so his booty could get some air! Lol I think it actually really helped.

cornstarch works great and so does browning flour in a dry pan let it cool and sprinkle it on like powder...sounds weird lol but it use to help my daughter quicker than ointments

I found that natural shea butter heals it very fast I swore by it when my babies got a each on their button or neck . Plus u can use shea butter for pretty much anything . it heals burns and things very fast . u may be able to find it at the beauty supply store I love that stuff
