So my daughter has recently started eating solids. just the rice cereal to start. also I was using huggies snugglers and pampers, and just recently bought some huggies snug and dry. she has had no problems with rashes so far, however she has a pretty bad rash that I can tell bothers her when she gets her diaper changed. my question is could it just be the fact that she is pooping more that could be causing the rash or could it be a possible allergic reaction to the snug and dry diapers? TIA:)

I started my munchkin on oatmeal. My daughter has stomach issues already and rice cereal is harder for them to digest and can make them constipated. But I only give her the oatmeal maybe every couple of days. That way she is still getting all the nutrients she needs and not missing out.

yea. i agree with above. rice cereal is not a good start. try starting with oatmeal cereal. even mixed with gerber type puree. veggies that digest

Oh wow. I didn't know that. Her doctor told me to start her on this for a week to get her used to the texture, then start more solids. thank you @cubanese im glad you showed me this, especially for the fact about breastmilk.

Rant! My sitter used cottonelle wet wipes on my baby! Now she has huge rash!!! I totally get that my SO forgot to put the wipes in her diaper bag. But she could have told one of us and we could have brought her some or she could have went to the store and I could pay her back. I don't get it. She buys her clothes and toys, takes her places while I'm at work. The store is literally a 5 minute walk from her house. But she decided cottonelle wipes are ok? Ugh. Rant over.

Okay, I fed Alaura pear, zucchini, and corn baby food yesterday for dinner and my mil gave it again tonight (she didn't know she ate it yedterday lol) Alaura has a sudden rash on her privates now.. food allergy?? she never fills a diaper, we wipe her every diaper change, etc., We had trouble in the past with allergies to diapers. she can only wear huggies. but no rash since huggies! anyways, Could she be allergic to something in the food since she's had it two days in a row??
