@cubanese, no none of that will go against you or him. As long as the child is not endanger. But it seems like you want to take the child because you guys are not together and he treats you bad not bc of anything he has done to the child. I can promise you if he's not harming your child you have no right to pick for your child if there father should be in their life or not. But if he can prove your using that child against him, you can be in some trouble. You will enjoy those moments a lone knowing your child is safe with their father, instead of some stranger or having to pay someone to keep him

@cubanese, and @nwhite0823 i smoke cigarettes would that go against me if this goes to court? im on maternity leave and i work second shift i have my drivers permit. he has his license a car he occasionally drinks but not to the point where he is drunk. he is verbally abusive when we fight. i am breastfeeding. our son is 7 and a half weeks old.

Right now as a social work if y'all live in the same state nobody gets more right than the other. A lot of women are trying to pull the breastfeeding card which does work anymore they will tell you to supplement. And you have to prove they are unfit...
