I would wait until the baby is a little older, especially if you get a puppy or dog that isn't already house trained, because potty training a puppy when having a newborn is HARD.

I think you should wait a couple months til after baby is born. only bc it's going to be alot to handle all at once. I showed my bf some info on puppies when I found out I was pregnant and he surprised me with one. the last few I needed of rest I dealt with a crying puppy. it was alot to handle also when my son was born lol

I think kids should be raised with animals. That's why we have 2 dogs, 3 cats, a guinea pig and 2 ferrets 😆

I would suggest a medium sized non shedding older dog (1 year or more), you don't want to deal with a puppy and a baby. But that's just me. Do your research 🙃
