my baby sleeps in bed with me. I have a California king size bed & I don't roll over because I'm so use to sleeping with my dog against me, same with my hubby when he's home(he works out of town a lot). she wont sleep in her bassinet but for 5 minutes at a time, during the day she sleeps in there just fine, just at night she wants to be with me. last night she only woke once & I'm pretty sure it's because she sleeps so well on this comfort pedic mattress. I feel safer having her near me too because I can feel her breathing. her nose has been stopped up the past week & I squirt saline in it to help her breath. I just feel best with her near me. I'll eventually move her to her crib but not for another 6 months or something.
My daughter and I cosleep. We've coslept since day one in the hospital :) She tends to just sleep in her diaper , otherwise she won't sleep. Or, lately, it'll be footie jammies. She's now 13 months old.
My son starts out in his crib from like 8 until midnight or 1 then he usually wakes up and I bring him in bed with me and either keep him there or put him back in his crib when he falls asleep again. He has to be next to me to fall asleep lately so I let him then put him back. We both definitely get more sleep that way. His crib is in our room until we move into a bigger place in Feb then he'll be in his own room and hopefully not waking up so often. he's 7 months.
