It gets better! My son was the same way. Took about 2 months to break the habit but we fixed it. His doctor suggested making it light during the day so open curtains and let light in even when she sleeps then at night make sure it's dark. That seemed to help us alot. I also let him nap but I'd try to keep him awake as long as possible to get him use to light means awake.
