She was really positive when did my sweep she said I was already dilated 1 cm and that my cervix was 2 cm long I think . She did a good sweep it felt more like a hand than a finger lol .
It was awful and so uncomfortable I had sweats and thought I was going to pass out.
I am booked for induction on saturday if nothing happen before , I will be 40+3.
Fingers crossed something happen before but if not at least I have a date now.
I've got another sweep but not until 40+3 ! Then she said we will book induction then? Have you got a date? Did she say anything about your cervix when she did the sweep? Mine was about 2cm long and admitted finger tip, she managed to do a sweep. I had to put my goats under my bum to tilt my pelvis though as my cervix was still a bit posterior. @frenchielsa x
@emmaelaine I have had BH for about 3 weeks now and some contractions since last night .
And tonight it was starting to seem like something was going on and that it was real contractions, they were getting closer and more painful and it all stopped 😑 its so frustrating.
And same for me last night it kept me awake but then nothing at all during the day grrr.
I really hope something is going to happen soon.
Have you got a date for an induction or another sweep ? xx
I've had a lot of bh since 20 weeks, so that's completely normal for me. And since last Friday I've been having contractions on and off. They start up and last anywhere between 2 & 10 hours then just stop again! It's driving me insane! It's so horrible because it's usually at night so keeps me awake! I've been having shooting pains down below more than normal though? Have you had any signs @frenchielsa

I had a sweep at 10.30am yesterday and lost my plug around 1pm today. @frenchielsa

I lost mine today bits by bits during the day and my sweep was last night at 4 pm xx

I only had a sweep once with my first.... I lost mine and went into labour about 9 hrs after sweep... xx
