So we were only back home 36 hours again before my midwife came out and as I was showing signs of infection booked me into delivery unit to be seen, then looks at olivia and decides her luminous skin colour has got worse so wants her to be seen. As I'm getting ready I'm struck down with terrible pain and rushed in via ambulance. Given a massive dose of antibiotics threw my vein and fluids. Turns out I have a lining of womb infection. Then baby is seen and her tango skin is cos her jaundice has gone up again. She's actually more orange everywhere than her levels suggest so we end up having to have the full blood test. Now waiting to see if she needs phototherapy as we are just back and fourth now with it increasing . So fed up. 😭😭

We're considering taking her to another hospital as we are having a total nightmare. There was a discrepancy of 10 days on my scans early on. I was scanned one day at 12.2 days to be told I was that gestation then a scan two days later they dated again as 13.5 weeks so they used that despite my telling them it's impossible. It doesn't matter hugely till now when they plot her jaundice on a 38 week chart it's under treatment line, but if u plot on the 36-37 she's in treatment range so we are kicking off ATM. Everyone says she looks more prem than 38 weeks and she's literally orange.

Briella was doing much better with her g-tube feedings, and then we hit another bump in the road. She has an infection which is not a rare occurrence for us, we do our best to keep her wounds clean but it’s a lot to keep up with. She’s getting IV antibiotics and will be okay, it’s just so hard to see her feeling so crappy 💔

I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning
