I do all kinds of things I always have 2 or 3 on hand but these were a good deal so we got a lot. Baked sweet potatoes is my fav but I do them fried for breakfast bc that's my husbands fav. Before long I will do sweet potato pie for the holidays @pebblestone
I went to buy a sweet potato the other day and it said it was 1.80 something a piece I was like. I need 8 I can go buy a good steak for me and the fiancé before we have them!😂😂😂
@babyreynolds, where do U live? They r pretty much in season well start of the season they should never be that expensive it's kinda crazy they were being sold by the potato and not the pound. In season I have seen them low as .30 a pound ( last year) it's still to early this year for that price I paid .48 a pound for these. But sometimes I buy them from a local farmer on the side of the road he charges 15.00 a bag not all bags weigh the same but it's a very large bag like a old school burlap potato sack. The potato is way better for u than the steak. But yea if they were small that's really expensive it they were like 3lbs each that's a great deal hardly know body has one potato 3pounds at least I never see them.
I live In texas. But I asked the stocker in the store why they were so expensive and he said I don't know I don't make the prices I just put them on the shelf. They were sold individually singly wrapped in plastic and they were small..
Yes it is. I also plan to make my own baby food but my son is still too small. Do y'all have bountiful baskets around there. They r awesome U should get one. I love mine if u look at my old post u can see what u typically get and its super adorable 15.00 for a basket. We get them but bi weekly bc our location but I haven't ordered in a while since his birth bc I had stocked lots of food before bc I knew breastfeeding would mean less time in the kitchen and I still haven't got out with my son.
@babyreynolds, not being nosey but do u live in the country Greenville is pretty country. We have been in our home 10 year this past August but we plan to sell before our son goes to school so in the next 5 years we want some land like 2-3 acres and a shop bc I'm dying for a garden. Greenville is to far bc my husband works in downtown but we have considered Crandall scurry area bc it's pretty much the only way to get into downtown with the least amount of traffic Rockwall is getting populated and north on 75 is too much traffic for a daily commute our best best is out 20 or 175 even 80 like forney is getting bad bc it's only 2 lanes maybe I should have just did message and not hijacked the sweet potato post sorry
