Welcome Kai'Reece Hatten! On October 24th I started having strong regular contractions. I went to L&D to get checked out. Fingertip dilated and only 25% effaced. But while being monitored my dr noticed I was scratching my whole body. He ordered some lab work and decided to at least admit me overnight for cholestasis. Well Kai'Reece wasn't liking it and his heart rate kept dropping to the 80d so now they were in high alert. The original plan was to wait for the results and depending on them we'd induce but with his heart rate continuing to drop they induced me on the 25th. That made everything so much worse. I was in labor for 18 hours and about every hour his heart continued to drop. But this time to the 50s. So I had an emergency C section. All was well in the beginning but for some reason half way through I started to regain feeling. So they had to put me under. Kai'Reece was born at 36 weeks and 2 days on October 26th at 5:54pm weighing 5lbs 10oz and 18 inches long. Completely healthy!!
