Ok ladies a little help. My SO hates my brother and i havent had a real sit down talk with my brother in years. Tonight was the first night. And sincr my son has been born i feel like it owe my brother that much for gim to see his nefew. Am i in the wrong for my brother to see his nefew and hide it from my SO? And wait for my SO to realize that our son needs to know his moms side of the family?

my brother has issues and we dont see eye to eye at all on anything and for him and i to sit down and talk for an hour and a half like civil human beings was really nice. my brother and i have had our issues in the past but im a grown woman i am a new mother trying to figure life out for her son. thank you @keepingupwithhj @mami2d @yazdahboss I just wish my SO would see that my brother is also trying to better himself. my brother has a lot of issues and he told me that i wasnt there when he needed me and i felt so bad that i wasnt there but he had also thanked me cuz that made him want to better himself. but my brother and i r going to make things right slowly so no conflicts start. i just want my son to know his family. and my SO has no right to tell me to keep our son away from his uncle.
He needs to accept where you come from just like you accept where he comes from.
