Soooo... is it possible to do formula in the hospital and then pump and give both breast and formula once we're home? The closer I get the more afraid I am of breastfeeding. Will I make enough? How will I know if there's anything coming out?
Milk quiet you can last 5 days down after giving calm light of all will be well hurt you saw but sells a cremita for ponerce in the nipples that helps you !!!!
Breastfeeding is amazing but don't feel bad if it's not for you. I breastfed my son as much as I could but just didn't produce enough so I began using formula and breastfed when I could. This time with my daughter I see things I wish I knew with my son that would have made breastfeeding easier. you produce milk based off supply and demand so you produce what baby needs by how much and how often the nurse (breastfeeding is a full time job but SO worth it) I encourage you to give it a shot. it's great for bonding! :) Also, you know that baby is getting what they need because you'll hear them make little puffs of air when they breathe while nursing, that means they are swallowing. it can take 3-4 days for your milk to come in, in the mean time it's just colostrum which is SUPER important for baby because it's full of fat and antibodies. Breastfeeding is an incredible journey and I wish you the best of luck Mama! Don't be discouraged if it's not for you though. I've done both breastfeeding and formula and I have 2 happy healthy babies.
