how do doctors generally go about inducing labour? I think my ob wants to induce the week after thanksgiving

when I was induced they had me come in at 6 am I was only 2 cm dialated the doctor popped My water bag and started pitocin in my Iv... I had my son 12 hours later
Im hoping to find out tues. with my son it was emergency induction i think they are supposed to schedule u thou like have u go to hospital early start medicine an have baby by end of day latest

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...

Do I want to be uncomfortable as hell for 40-42 weeks?
Do I want to be in horrible pain for up to 14-16 hours even longer
Can I handle pushing a big ass head through my vagina
Can I handle this with no pain meds(sometimes u can't make it in time)
Do I want to go to the hospital 10x before I'm actually in labor.
Because inducing your labor at 32-37 weeks for your own selfish needs or getting a csection to do it the "easy" way is just plain selfish and FYI a...
