Out Of 4 Kids This Is The Only One Im Breastfeeding, So I Wanted To Ask How Do My Boobs Even Out And Are Not Soo Swollen Or Painful? Do I Have To Keep Pumping Or Just Feed The Baby On His Sched? He Is 5 Days Since His Birth Date
@amorrione, i feel is gotten a bit better but im trying to hang in there i see is so much easier to breastfeed but it does take a bit of work, thank u i appreciate ur response😊
It's hurts a lot at first. It pays to stick with it tho. Pumping can help with the pressure, and establishing supply. For me it started to get easier about 2 1/2 weeks in and was significantly better by 3 weeks, hang it there momma!
If you have a let down (when you feel an intense pain in your boobs and they start leaking) you need to either nurse or pump. If you don't they will get swollen or engorged and can cause clogged ducts or lower your supply
are you engorged? I'd suggest hand expressing into a bottle or towel for comfort. you can pump if you want but I wouldnt do it for too long. warm compress on breasts before feeding or pumping and you can ice them for 10mins after feeding if swollen. other than that keep nursing on both breasts.
