The midwife gave me a sweep while I was having contractions cos I was only 2cm dialated so it was painful and uncomfortable for me x

thing is that it's triggering of labour and labour is painful! but not every labour is painful so you might have a nice experience I've had 3 baby's an the first one was a nightmare but the second one I felt no pain at all an tell he was crowning and the third was mildly painful an tell crowing I found the contractions are always the most painful with your first xx

Omg I just realised I was only speaking to you the other month and you were only half way and from Hertfordshire originally! Wow that's gone so quick xx

Was really really uncomfortable....So painful! Think it was more a stretching problem...hadn't had sex for a month...and had always had problems in that department. Not really sure...but was the worst thing about my labour :) I was already 1cm...so after I went to 8cms within an hour so did work for me xxx

Sweep made my waters go and It didn't hurt in the slightest! Xx
