What is everyone doing as far as how much maternity leave to take? I just found out that because I work in California (company is based out of Utah) that I get 4 weeks before due date, 6 weeks after birth and then 6 weeks bonding time. Interested to hear what others are doing. Thanks!
@sarahb518, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount. My company first told me only 6 weeks from birth.
I combined my vacation time with my leave. I had 2 weeks vacation and 3 months leave. I worked up to 39 weeks but she came a week late so I'll return to work almost as soon as she turns 3 months. It's still not enough time 😩
That's exactly what I took. It's the standard time in California that edd will pay for maternity leave
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Hi i am New to this and im just trying the app out. i am 11 weeks and i made a doctors appointment to find out what im having. what do you think?
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?

(Thread Closed) 12week scan of my identical twins- got my 20week scan in 5weeks but not finding out what sex they are. But just for fun what do you all think? :)
What week do you find out the gender? I'm so anxious. & I forgot with my boys lol
I'm in CA too. Job protection is 4 months for me which I'm going to use all. I'm not taking the 4 weeks prior and trying to work until I go in labor. Even though it's paid id rather spend time with baby girl and hope my husband makes enough money for us (he's strictly commission!) ahhhhh. If not then I'll head back to work since grandma is retiring for the baby. Then I'll take more time off like bonding time before her 1st birthday.
