I need help. I am so emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausted. I can't do this anymore.

9 months of constantly being woken up every 1-2 hours and being in school full time plus working while being a single mother is near impossible these days. I'm constantly aggravated and yelling unintentionally because half the time I'm so exhausted I just have spurts of anger. I don't know if that's normal or not. I've experienced ppd signs for a long time now and have tried just suffering through it but it's not working. My anxiety is at an all time high. I've been so stressed I've lost almost 20 lbs in a little over a week. Teething is taking its toll on JJ and on me because he is so restless and whiny I can't get shit done. I've got a sink full of bottle that need to be washed, school work that needs to be done, work in the morning, and countless other things, and Jaxtyn has been wide awake for 2 straight hours. I've rocked him, changed him, attempted to nurse him several times, given him baby orajel for his gums, and I don't know what else I can do besides wait it out. I've cried until I physically cannot cry anymore. I'm just so numb. I feel so unattached to everything. Yet it's so painful to feel this way. @heavenwings @yazdahboss @concrete

ok. you need to and you CAN get this under control. i had severe anxiety with my daughter. your baby can sense it and can be restless as well. First, you MUST find a way to relax. you have lots of responsibilities, but know that they are all termporary. your anxiety can make you feel like there is no end, that you can't escape, but it is not true. you are in control, you are the one in charge of your life. second, carrying jaxton is comforting to him, but his sling/bouncer/pacifier or just some quiet time is what he needs. try giving him a bit of tylenol, that minght help fall asleep. if those baby bottles are giving you anxiety, wash them.

No, I never ask anyone for more than to watch him while I work or go to school. I would have an anxiety attack if I left him with someone for more than just that, plus he refuses to eat anything for anybody so I have to nurse him. That's why I can't really escape, lol. But you're all right, I do need more rest. I've got to re charge my brain because I am way overworked in all areas of life and it is breaking me down. Yesterday I got maybe an extra 30 minutes of sleep because jaxtyn didn't wake up at the crack of dawn, and even with that I woke up feeling so much better than usual. But that's a very very rare occasion. @concrete @yazdahboss @cutemom3 but with my anxiety, when I do start feeling that way all I can do it try to hold it in because I don't have anyone to take him so that I can calm down. That's the problem, I know it is.

I don't trust anyone to watch my baby other than my mother!

You should try looking into talking with a therapist or your doctor about PPD. It's okay to open up, because we all have our moments and I have been there. And even though he's a year old it's still hard at times and sleepless nights. You have to find a way to get rest and get stuff done to. Not resting can take a toll on your body. It's not healthy and good for the baby. I hope everything gets better for you soon. Remain positive.
