My plan is to not get an epidural but just to scream and yell and make everybody else just as miserable 😂
@kenrababy, walking is best thing I can do when o would walk fast I would get pain like tons of pressure the entire time I basically put myself in labor bc each day pass the due date I got more determined I said like on sept 3 I will have him on the 7th and that's exactly what I did on the 6th I went to eat a big meal came home told hubby were walking til dark I paced my entire neighborhood not sure how many miles my feet and vagina were killing me I said I'm not stopping I kept going when I came in at dark I ate again and by 10 pm I was n full blown painful labor with contractions 5 mins apart
I'm no. not at all. it helped a little. I just felt like it, never did it for real lol
I hiked probably sixty miles total during my whole pregnancy. even if you start walking now it'll probably help
@tlw1596, I hear walking is really good. The only time I walk is at work and that's not a lot lol. Hopefully I can hold out that long b4 going to the hospital
My son came four weeks early too.. I'm not really sure what the trick is. But I drank a shit ton of water everyday, and I hiked at least two miles a week. My son came the day of my baby shower and I was in such denial I never would have gone to the hospital unless my mom hadn't forced me to lol. the first three hours felt like butterflies and I would have off and on back cramps and by the time I got to the hospital I was there an hour and my nurse went to stand me up and she said lay back down we need to check you and I was ten centimeters lol
@tlw1596, that's 1 of the best labor stories I've heard. U gotta give me ur secret lol
lmao it was great, it only hurt for an hour and then I pushed for ten minutes and was done
@mcrowell0970, rotfl 3 days tho?!? That's intense. @tlw1596 5 hrs sound so much better
@beebaby u don't think ripping the bed frame off is crazy? Lol
@txyogagirl, oh thanks!!!!! My BF tries to helpful but it's our first and neither 1 of us know what we're doing so he will probably end up getting cursed out lol ijs
I was in labor for five hours total, but I only had contractions for three of them
it really isn't as bad as you think, it's something I think you are able to handle without acting crazy. I felt like I was gonna rip the bed frame off
@kenrababy, I would ask details about the classes bc my husband and I took the classes Baylor offered 3 sessions and we never learned breathing techniques and I was 8 months preg when we took them we were building onto our home and I was still working. I had no time to find another class that was going to teach me what I really wanted to learn. I'm glad I went to those but it was kinda a waste of money bc I knew a lot of the info already bc I did lots of online research. As for ur support person choose someone u don't mind seeing u butt naked in your worst moments. My husband was so great and helpful but once I got to 7 the pain was so bad my nurse had to look me n the eyes and breathe with me she was so awesome she had 5 kids so she was a pro my husband moved to my back at that point and she was in front of me. Choose a focus point. It can really help I choose a baby pic of hubby which is what I wanted my baby to look like. I will defiantly have a doula for baby #2 even though I feel very confident and like a pro when the pain gets so bad u need someone to really help u breathe. If u push ur breath out during pushing u will wear out fast and baby won't come. U have to really hold it in and push with ur butt. Don't know if anybody told u but it's like ur going to poop and u may poop it's totally normal. I didn't but I sure wanted too.
@txyogagirl, Idk who that person would be. Hopefully I'll b attending some prenatal classes soon where I can learn breathing techniques n stuff
@kenrababy, 😂😂😂 ur too funny I had no medicine of any kind I didn't ever scream too bad until I began pushing it was more of a holler once my dr was like hold ur breath or something along those lines I was thinking dang I must be loud I didn't hear or see any other ladies n pain my entire hospital stay but then again they said they have a 95% rate that women get the epidural. Girl don't get it u can do it. It's really not that bad if u have a good coach and support person to never leave ur side
I wanted the epidural but I didn't have time, my mom tells me now that I never needed it because I did so good
lol my mom was the one who told me to please get the epidural 😂
@orionsmomma, lol at least they got to suffer a lil bit 😅
Yep. That's what I did. Until my husband looked me in the eyes and said "please get the pain meds" lmao.
