@babydiehl2016, @autumnsmomma125 I was just trying to help other moms to each there own. But I will say my sons don't smell he only has breastmilk and second I never go anywhere. I can understand it might be Inconvenient when on the go. I use cloth wipes too and when he has dr appt I have to take spray water. But I don't mind I have a bag anyway. But I choose to CD because what ingredients disposables have in them and also because the landfill. Have u seen the pollution numbers lately? Or have u visited your city's landfill it's disgusting. The pic is an example for pricing the cost is just the added bonus.

I was so damn confused with them at first lol. my local burlington sells the cloths. its a pack of 4 or 5 for like 2 bucks 🙌 I should just start making them 😬

@kambam, really I have never been to Burlington have to check it out. I get all my stuff from GMD. They are the best.

@kambam, I made my micro fleece liners but that's it.

I actually do know what the landfills look like because my husband is a diesel mechanic for waste management the trash company and is at a land fill at least once a day lol I have nothing against cloth diapering it's just not for me. And again I agree with @babydiehl2016 lol

@babydiehl2016, I'm sorry. 😀 no judging. Maybe someday u will visit a landfill or the situation will hit close to home. Change only happens with awareness. They also make cloth pads I don't wear pads only tampons which are cardboard and cardboard and cotton products decompose at such a faster rate. Look up decomposing rate of diaper it's crazy. Well best of luck to ur family I know some moms have to work lots of hours and aren't able but women that are able I think they should try it. Every little thing helps.

We don't have to cloth diaper even if we are stay at home moms. I'm a SAHM but I still don't. I don't understand what you mean by "the situation will hit close to home" in your last comment. There will always be trash no matter what. That's why land fills exists. You say no judging but yet your pushing cloth diapering on @babydiehl2016

I feel like it would equal out to the same because of Constantly washing and then detergent.

@jahnessagarcia, well it depends on your washer mine is very energy efficient we bought a brand new one for cloth diapering. Also where u live bc the cost of water but think of it like this one gal of water is less than one penny where I live and it only takes less than 5 gal to do the wash cycle I use so basically it's less than a nickel but even if it was more I would still do it bc I think it's what's best for my baby's bum and my family. Plus the limited edition prints are just to adorable and I can't help myself gotta have my sweet baby looking cute. I enjoy shopping online and seeing what's coming out. But some moms buy a compact washing machine I considered those they use one gal and wash in 15min. We decided not to go that route. It's more for small spaces. Yes u have to factor in soap/electricity but still with buying disposable u have to factor in the cost of gas or shipping plus trash bags to dispose of the diapers plus wipes all for something u throw away.

I wanted to cloth diaper but right now in life I do not have the time nor energy to wash constantly. But I hope with my next I can give it a shot. I love al the cute little designs they have and the fact that baby is less likely to get rashes.

@jahnessagarcia, I understand it could be hard on some moms. Maybe u can with ur next baby. You will enjoy it. The washing is really not that much work I think I wash less now bc I never dirty my own clothes bc I don't go anywhere haha. Some moms with a large stash wash once every 2-3 days but I prefer to wash once a day bc I like my home clean and don't want my diapers to set or stain if I do sunning I wash again a second time but that's not always. Yes the prints make shopping so much fun. I will look for what's new and coming out and can't wait to get it for my little guy. I have a very big stash only bc I plan to have more babies and use it for them as well but I plan to start selling off what I didn't like or what's selling for more than what I paid there is a great market I dont know if u have checked that out. U can start with a pretty small stash lots of moms make it work.

@jahnessagarcia, yes some of the limited edition prints sell out within mins and go for big bucks. Retired prints are also worth more. Crazy to think u can buy something for 30.00 let ur kid 💩 in it then sell it for 60.00 haha. As for leaks I recommend staying away from any diaper that's not 100% cotton. Or at least 90% cotton all natural fibers will wash and last without leaks stains or smells. I have all my prefolds organic cotton but the 100% cotton works good to u don't have to get organic I just choose to. Bamboo is also a popular fabric I have some that are 60% cotton and 40% bamboo. If u see cheap diapers look at fabric polyester is not absorbent all diaper will leak and lots of cheap diaper are made with it. Microfiber is not a natural fiber but very absorbent so much that u should never put near baby skin it will dry it out it acts similar to a disposable. I personally hate it a good alternative is fleece or flannel it does the same. Makes baby feel dry. Wool is the best.
