my experience with being induced wasn't bad. it was my first pregnancy and my son was over due and hugeeee. they gave me pitocin to start contractions and eventually broke my water. i had him 15 and a half hours later vaginally. he tore me a lil but we both werw fine. he weighed 9lbs 2.2oz

I was induced for preeclampsia. I was really swollen from it and it made it reallllyyy hard for them to find a vein so I was poked a lot until they found one. It also took me 24+ hours until they started the pitocin because I wasn't open at all. After 24+ hours of induction medicine I was only 2 cm. They don't let you eat while you're on it either so I was really hungry and had a headache from not eating. Between each 12 hours they let me have liquids though, but that didn't fill me up at all. But when they started me on the pitocin, a nurse came in and said "you have to have enough urine every hour or we'll have to put a catheter in" I made enough though so I was fine until the epidural. But once they started the pitocin I progressed fast. I was on the pitocin for over 12 hours but it felt shorter than that. I got my epidural at 3 cm dilated and they broke my water at 5 so I didn't feel it really. After that it was only 8 more hours until she was here. But I didn't like when they told me I was 9.5 cm and then waited 2 more hours to check me again πŸ˜‘ but I didn't have the smoothest of pregnancies so don't base the experience off of mine lol

I was induced with the balloon and pitocin and it speeded up my labor..yes contractions are terrible either way. It is worse feeling with pitocin but she came right out in 2 pushes bc the epidural helped me relax! U got this mommy ☺️❀️

Don't be scared everything will be fine. I personally didn't have a good experience being induced i lasted 5 days until she came. But everybody's body is very diferent. I wish you luck and hope your baby gets here super fast.

Don't worry. Inducing isn't as scary as we thing. Just the contractions are closer together. If you have an epidural you won't even feel them. @mommyjessicaa
