pros and cons between using a midwife and birthing at a birthing to OB and hospital birth.
I have had 3 hospital births 2 with epi and 1 med free..
seriously considering birthing center for this birth...
and GO!
@kambam, what kind of rules are you talking? ?
I am going this week. I will be 9 weeks this week. I just truly hate hospitals. and those monitors, and the fact that they try to push you the drugs even when asked not to..
I'm in labor don't ask me everytime I say ouch! lol
did you tour the center? I almost went that route but they kind of had annoying rules and i had to have so many visits there etc before being accepted as a patient. I instead had a hospital birth with midwife and it was nothing but positive. they are strict about wearing the monitors but i could still move and was allowed breaks from it.
that was my thoughts... my 3rd was no no med baby... and even though I walked in full intention of it they made hook up anyway and I labored just about the whole time on my back... it was horrible
I have a midwife and doing it at the hospital. I prefer having a midwife
I had my first and only baby at a birth center. I loved the experience and not having to be hooked up to any kind of monitors and being able to birth in any position I was comfortable in.
why do hospitals keep you so long after birth?
Vaginal birth
For mamas who’ve had vaginal births, how long did you stay in the hospital after you gave birth? Did you leave same day or the day after?
My hospital officially posted on their website that no spouses are aloud in during birth/post partum. So guess who’s gonna have to freaking look into a midwife for vbac tomorrow 🙃 not an option to have my fiancé miss the whole birth of our son. Freaking crazy.
Natural Hospital birth
Experiences? I will have the baby in a hospital as my,home,is not fit for birth of the baby(apartment). Wanted to hear experiences of natural birthing,in hosiptals
Okay ladies who is planning on having a natural birth? No meds?? I'm still delivering at the hospital but am planning a natural birth. 😀
well idk who your provider is, but kaiser is amazing about natural birthing these days. the ones with the midwives anyway. they followed my birth plan amazingly. whatever you choose will be perfect. because either way, something can go wrong 😆
