My sisters both have 5 kids each, have medi-cal for all their kids and one sister still isn't done having kids. Never told them anything.

@b3autifulm3ss, if u get welfare already and get pregnant they dont give you more money...but some people found a way to get around that right before they have the baby they cut it off then reapply. ... really irritates me here iam working full time at McDonalds and i cant even get food stamps or medical

@babygirl10-11, what!?!?!? how lame! blah i hate that!! drives me crazy, the last time i applied for food stamps they told me i made too much, UM no food is fucking expensive dude! really you don't qualify for food stamps or Medi-cal why not I have qualify i work at a restaurant as well but I don't get it anymore since I had to put my husband income down.. I think if on welfare they do get more money! Cause once the kid hits 18 the money drops..that happened to my Tia! And her ass just relies on it smh 😒

@jazzyjazz, no say u have 2 kids and they give u 700 a month if you get pregnant with a 3rd they will not raise your check but if u stop your benefits before the baby is born and then reapply it will go up and here in sacramento ca they make you do a welfare to work program so your not just sitting on your ass collecting money

@bayygirl10-11, oh I didn't know that..she only has 2 kids and yeah she did that program years ago not no more tho and still gets money for both

My worker told me if i want to have a baby and get more money to get off for two months and then reapply... She even suggested doing it while at the beginning of the pregnancy, she said its easier lol.. I get plenty of cash and food for me and my daughter.. I am in school full time so after six months I'm hoping to get off completely...
