how can I get my daughter to go to bed without throwing a huge fit? she is 1 and I am getting so upset with all the screaming and crying.

I'd just ignore her. She will learn that your serious when you say it's bed time. And I wouldn't care what my SOs father says it's not his child your the mother you know what's best for your child and it's not like it's hurting her. She just needs to learn how to soothe herself to sleep. If you know she's feed had milk and she has a clean diaper she's fine if she crys. I'm sorry your going through this it's rough sometimes.
@junesmommy_15, I would but the last time I tried to do that I got yelled at by my SOs father.
Ignore her. She know that she's getting a reaction out of you even if you're angry. If you do this for two days, by the third she will stop. I went through this with my son. He goes to bed perfectly. Even if he doesn't fall asleep instantly he does good.
