Pills work best for me

I had the one in my arm and it caused horrible mood swings, headaches, and I gained 30 lbs in a coulple months time. I got it out and got on the patch and got pregnant while on the patch. So I wouldn't recommend either.

I'm on the mini pill.

my sister and sis and law have the mirena and say it works wonders

the copper Iud has no hormones so you don't really gain a lot of weight and it can stay for up to 10 years. it's the only one I've had good luck with

i have Mirena. love it so far and pills were a no go. im tired of takin a pill every day. this was much easier!

my friend had the one in arm and didn't work good for her. see period for weeks and sometimes none for up to 4 months. everyone is different.

my sister had the one in her arm once she had her daughter left it in for about a year and a half and she gained weight like crazy she looked like she was still pregnant so she uses the patch now and it seems like it's been working well for her she's lost alot of weight also

@maddykilgore, oh I most definitely can't do the pill! I been done slipped up! I tried the shot but I started gaining weight! I want some that last for a few years

I've never been on BC but all my friends get the shot and they say that was better than the pill because they didn't have to remember to take it every single day
