How often does your 6 week old eat during a growth spurt? He went from four hours to now he wants to eat every two-three hours. I just don't want to over feed him and make him sick.

So Charlies started crying when im feeding him solids was getting stressed thinking why wont he eat.. but when i offer him finger foods he will happily eat.. its like he just wants to do it himself! Anyone else had this?
Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
So what is the earliest you've heard a doctor suggest baby food. Waylon gained 4lbs in a month and he wanted me to start giving him bites of baby food through out the day along with 4oz of water. I had to start mixing my breastmilk with formula bc he has reflux. And having the bottle made him want to eat faster and more. He was eating 6oz bottles every 3 hours. And apperently it made him gain too much too fast. But I feel REEEEAAAALLLLLY off with the idea of giving him baby food. What do you all think

my son is 6 and a half weeks old and he eats every 2 hours at night. but every hour durring the day and if your breastfeeding im thinking he is upping your production cuz that i what im thinking my son is doing for me.

My baby was eating every two hours. If she ate too much she would just spit it out.
