hi ladies. what was your experience with tubal ligation? any weight gain or side effects? i don't want any more kids…

I've heard people end up having miscarriages with them and your risk of ectopic pregnancy goes up. My sister in law had her tubes removed and was in a lot of pain..I had one removed for an ectopic and o was in extreme pain..not sure if it's the same

@momtobeagain, Yw talk to your doctor they should explain the risks and the statistics better..my mil had her tubes tied and burned never had a problem other than she wanted more kids 8years after they were done..

yeah I know I'd different for everyone but I Judy don't want to risk it. :/ . I'll bring it up to my doctor but I'll have to really think about it. @corinasolorio

I had the coper iud before but my periods were so heavy. I'm talking about like 7 years ago. I might try doing it again cause my body could have changed since then. the great thing was not having to take pills every day :) @dabcw3814

I had one almost 8 months ago my period are a bit lighter and the cranping isn't as bad im not sure about the weight gain its always been hard for me to lose

@momtobeagain, I had the mirena. I didn't get a period for 5 years. I am getting it again after I give birth.
