Is it such a bad thing that I don't breast feed my son due to reasons why I can't???

If you can't how it it bad? It's rare a woman can't breastfeed so why would It be bad?

No. I stopped breastfeeding at 3 weeks cause I couldnt either. My boyfriend was pissed at me because yeah breast is best but a fed baby is better either way their being fed. Its just not our fault.

@mamahoude lol well our son just turned 1 yesterday but hes never fed him at night. Its been me me me the whole year. Hes changed maybe 4 diapers our sons entire life and fed him as newborn with a bottle maybe once?

My son has Gerds ( reflux disease ) I researched it and all around he can't breast feed, only bottle feed I have tried to breast feed he screams so loud and almost stops breathing so I won't allow him to do something he can't and won't do.

@amber16, have you talked to an LC about it? From what I've heard you can still breastfeed..if you don't want to that's find don't let anyone get you down but if it's something that is important to you then go to LCs they can offer some support.. I went to so many LCs when my son was a baby just to get some help..

@amber16 poor baby 😞 I stopped because he stopped latching correctly after 3 weeks of being born. Nipple ointment wasn't helping the soreness or cracking so I started to bleed on top of that. I would cry trying to latch him on. One night he wanted to eat and he got fussy so me and him crying at the same time while trying to latch him was too much to handle. Luckily Enfamil sent us a care package of newborn formula so my mom just pulled it out the cabinet and he took it. She couldnt even latch him on. I kept flinching it just hurt so bad. I wanted to try again after I healed but he wouldnt take it anymore

Here is a little info I found.. My baby liked to nurse the way they suggest in this.. I used to sit him on my lap and hold him upright well he nursed.. Big reason why bottle feeding helps is because it's a bit easier to hold baby upright while they eat..

@andrewsmommy, whatttt that would not fly for me lmao. My hubby has to change at least 3 poop diapers a week or I'll be after him about it... I mean how can he miss out on our sons master pieces 😐

@mamahoude girl I TRY and its always "i work all day you do nothing" BIIIIIITCH lmao. I get so mad. Its not easy taking care of a now toddler 247.

Don't make anyone make u feel bad. obviously breast milk is better but formula is really good too. They have come a long way making it like mothers milk.
