I'd call my pediatrician and ask before I threw it all out. May be safe if you scorched it.

Kinda but boiling would destroy the nutrients. I think you just put it in a saucepan and turn it like you're going to boil but then turn it off when you just start to see bubbles around the edges. But again ask somebody who actually knows, like your pediatrician.
