Well got to make a birthing plan tomorrow... Can't I just sat 'No epidural but born naturally'? and…

Who your birthing partner is :) if you want your partner to cut the cord or not...if you'd like to deliver the placenta naturally or have an injection. If you want baby to have the Vitamin K jab (helps blood clot)...If you want skin to skin straight away...Where and how you want to give birth :) and mention any pain relief you want (they'll ask you that anyway when you are in labour) I just wanted gas and air...no epidural (unfortunately I had to have one due to complications) which may have resulted in a csection but luckily was resolved xx

My midwife just wrote a few things I said in my maternity notes in the birth plan section...and I didn't type anything up (forgot to...but guess the midwives in the labour ward read my notes) xxx

@winterbaby95, that sucks! although personally I don't like the idea of water baths. 😂 @beck_yemm how did you get away with that?! my midwife has made it main priority! XD xx

Haha I don't know my midwife never even mentioned it xx I was 37+6 when he was born so maybe she would of done it at my 38 week appointment xx

I wrote mine out early but am under no illusion it will go as smoothly as I want 😂 I have one potential complication in that anaesthetics don't work well on me so I can't have an epidural, if I need a c-section they will have to knock me out! So by all means make a plan, but don't get your heart set on it as it could all change in the blink of an eye xx

@newmommyapril, ah the joys. 😂😂 mine most likely won't go to plan either as firstly I don't want an epidural as the thought of it terrifies me, but as my midwife said they may end up giving me an emergency one due to having gestation diabetes and the fact my blood pressure could drop dramatically which is obviously dangerous for baby and me, and secondly due to having the gestational diabetes, there's so many things that could happen including if being induced doesn't work on the second occasion, I will have no choice but to have an emergency section. 😑 and who said labour was easy?! 😂😂 xx

oh and to add to that, I most likely have to stay in hospital for over 24 hours... considering I have a massive phobia of hospitals it's going to be fun. ;) xx
