hi ladies
well little man is finally here!
I went in on Thursday 20th to be induced. had 2 of the pessaries nothing happened. on the Saturday i was checked by the doctor and was 2cm dilated.. so enough for them to break my waters.
they took me down and broke my waters at 20.30pm on sunday night. my contractions started at 11.00pm and he was born at 00.30am on the Monday.

Any idea who delivered him? I had a midwife called Ruth! She was a bit nutty but lovely with it ! I was the same too I was stuck on m2 and had to wait for a bed to come about, I was getting annoyed as I needed pain relief and they kept giving me paracetamol and codeine and I was like I NEED STRONGER PAIN RELIEF - finally they fetched me the gas and air and wheeled me down ! X

@xkathrynlouise if I'm honest the actual delivery once I got down there was okay. the midwives were nice. and talked me through everything about the induction and sliding scale and things.it was just the waiting around before hand. waiting for a slot for the delivery suite because of how busy it was and not enough staff. xx
How did you find your delivery at Bolton? Also congratulations 🎉
@xkathrynlouise, I know that feeling! I was ready for discharging myself! 4 days on m2 and you know they didn't change my bed once!
my midwives were amy and laura. one was a student midwife. they were lovely.
