My contractions started off as mild period pains xxx

@gemmaclairex, I was induced and about 2 hours after first pessary I started getting pains like that...they told me it was just a side effect of a pessary (it wasn't!) xx

Yeah I had period pains instantly that changed into contractions within an hour! Good luck! X

@haribo83, aww thanks hun.. how far gone were u? and was ure cervix open or closed when they inserted the pessary? x

@gemmaclairex, closed! And 40+1. I had really strong braxton hicks from 17 weeks though which the midwife said def helped, xx

@haribo83, ahh hopefully then.. mine was closed too.. but she said it was soft xx

had mine in at 12 aswell... no pains yet :( xxx

I had mine inserted yday just been examined and I'm 2cm but no pain lol I'm having another one inserted after I come off the monitor
