QUESTION LADIES im really bumbed that i might not be able to breast feed again i couldnt with my son and my breaat issues arent any better so i most likely wont be able too or do i coukd be at my own expense . im prone to getting rock hard cyst and tumors from the way my breast tissue is and when i tried with my son not only did it take SO LONGGG for breast milk to come in but it caused a rapid growth in my tumor i had to stop and have surgery . i havent had any since but i gotten alot of rock hard cyst that can only be surgerically removed and alot of damaged tissue that caused some dimpling . it would be nice to try again but do i really want to do myself more harm when i can just formula feed ?? i have enough health issues going on other than breast and dont want spend any time away from my princess then needed.

due to the lupus and my meds I can't breast feed at first I was really down and sad that I couldn't but I got over it especially when I discovered advance milk which is the closes to formula to breast milk

do they offer that in the hospital ?

you can ask but if they don't it cost the same as the regular formula

yes she did and she had what they call a little stomach buy she was fine she actually starting doing alot more when she started drinking it.

that it's totally okay. your health and you being with your baby is more important. if she has to drink the formula I'm sure she will do really good! you are an excellent mom!

i know she will be fine my son was fine i just want to be successful at stuff i couldnt do before with my son . it just sucks cause i couldnt give vaginal birth with my son i cant do it now with my princess because they said im still to narrow . and now i still cant breastfeed . so its like il never get to experiance certain stuff that alot others get to that i want . but il get over it just sucks . and thanks @momtobeagain for your kind words

@jeanetta25, I know the feeling love but not being able to breast feed don't make us less of a mother and we can still bond with our babies while bottle feeding.. humming and singing to them while feeding they still know who we are!

i know it doesnt make us any less and i wish someone would tell me that im anyless of a mom because im a damn good mom to my boy and will be to my princess too. i just want to get a chance to do it all at least once . and im sure this will be my last pregnancy . il get over it i know it isnt the end of the world. thanks @lili007 i feel better about it knowing im not alone on it . you guys are very sweet some people was telling me try breast feeding anyway because its best for the baby and im like ..... and what about me and my health isnt that important too if she depends on me ..

For me personally, breastfeeding isn't an option, it's what you do when you have a baby. And even I wouldn't try if I were you. It's too risky for you to go through that again, I wouldn't take the chance.

being a stay at home mom of two toddlers and a 11 year old I'm gonna try my best but don't promise I will 100% breast feed. breastfeeding takes a lot of time and effort. but I rather take that time to enjoy my kids than going crazy because of being so busy and breast feeding.

breast feeding or formula, c section or vaginal, we are all great mothers because we care and love our kids and we all created life and had the strength of carrying a child until that baby is ready to come to the world.
