Chico is your best bet. Graco is good and britax. Don't buy a baby trend because they don't fit newborns and you'll have to have a back up seat

I got the britax travel system. my goddaughter had it a few years ago so I knew it was easy to use and very safe

this is the one that I am getting. It's amazing. I was able to actually test it out at Target. My friend has the same one and she recommended it. It is alittle pricey.

This is the one I used with my son. He just turned one and still fit in it! We did switch him over to a bigger one though. The head restraint moves up and down so you can adjust the hight. The fabric all comes off easily and is machine washable. It also connects to any base or stroller as long as its click connect. It honestly got a bit heavy towards the end of us using it but then again my son weighs 25lbs lol and should've been in a different car seat by then.
