So I have a boyfriend but he isnt the father, and I want him in the labor room with me. The baby father wants to be in picture now (I hope) but baby father wants to be in room while im in labor I dont feel comfortable with it at all! Like Ill be pushing out a human shouldnt it be my choice who I have in the room with me & who will comfort me thru the whole labor process? Doesnt make him any less the father dont mean he cant hold baby first, just don't want him in the room! How is this a bad thing..

It's not bad and you do have the choice. Just make sure the staff know who you don't want there and show them a pic. they will not let him see you if that is your wishes.

like he can come in a bit after when baby born but not the labor process. @reyesmomma

I had my ex in the room who I had broken up with 2 weeks earlier and hadn't talked to him since then! Lol it was super awkward but he wanted to be there. And he held my one leg while the nurse held the other while I pushed and saw the whole birthing process. Then he stayed at the hospital until we were discharged. He was a big help there though. Its really up to you I think it's only fair to let the baby's father be there too. My mom didn't want my ex there but it's his baby too I couldn't be that much of an asshole.

me and the baby father were never together and he didnt care or acknowledge the pregnancy till I was 30 weeks pregnant. I dont want him in there ill be more stressed and probably hurt him. he has ever right to come in after all that tho. @missjess

also I havnt seen him once this whole pregnancy. I want him in the picture his words make me believe him so much just feel like his actions havnt proven anything yet :(

I did my part and try to keep postive relationship with him. and try to see best in him. I gave him many chances. I dont know why I keep trying I just do it for baby I want him to prove me wrong and be there for baby. im so fair with him ... a lil too fair then he deserves. I don't even know if he will actually be there tho but according to him he will be.

I wouldn't if I was you. first is your moment and you want someone supportive and someone you feel good with. also out of respect for your boyfriend I wouldn't. and like you said of course he can come see the baby after you are more comfortable in the postpartum room. yeah is his baby but he can see him right after you are comfortable.
