a week from being 6 months and still haven't told anyone the news........ [advice please ] The reason why (hopefully it's not selfish of me ,lol) but , is because I don't want the extra attention . no one is involved in my daughters life but my mother, her daddy and that's it really. no one calls to see how she is doing besides her great grandma , no one tries to visit her or anything. but , when she was a tiny baby and I was pregnant everybody wanted to come to the hospital etc. now it's like she isn't important to anyone but us. we take her to her dads side of the family on holidays . if we didnt do that they wouldnt see her at all , or even care .that's fine that's not my point. Me announcing I'm pregnant it's going to be a repeat . everybody pretending they give a shit til the baby is a few months old. if they dnt give us the time of day now , they don't need to pretend to care about the child I'm carrying. I don't know. am I wrong? I can't stand for people to act like they care for reasons like that...

this is the same reason that we never announced on fbook. if we dont talk, youll find out with a birth announcement. lol were not hiding it but never announced it.

You can announce and not entertain ppls act of caring. Or simply not say anything at all. It's your decision and not a selfish one either! I can't blame you at all.

I dont think ur wrong. That's legitimate! I would jus keep it quiet as long as u want to. Shoot, we didnt tell anyone til we wer 5 mnths. I told the people that reach out to me. Hubby only told his parents n brother. U do it ur way and guess what??? It will be jus fine...even if they get mad cuz u didnt say lol. Be comfy in ur own space and decisions. Everyone is not important enough to include.

@aaaamoney, u r very welcome doll! I completely understand cuz some of my in-laws are too much to deal with and I just believe that while pregnant we shouldnt have to deal with some things/people. Anytime u need a friend or an ear...count me in.

yes, my mother in law isn't the best. when we told her I was pregnant with my daughter, I just had him tell her and she went off saying all kinds of crazy stuff . I just feel like she'd talk more shit then being happy. I think my mama would be happy because she was super happy with my daughter . I just don't know what to do. I really dont. @madukes thank.you so much for taking time out of your day to comment and talk to me. you really have eased my mind some.
