80% effaced contractions still but since I couldnt get dilated last night I was sent home. hopefully tomorrow at the doctor some progress will me made. have any of you others mommies went from 80% effaced to dilation quickly?

I was diagnosed with an "irritable uterus" so I had contractions from 33w until my son was delivered

@bonniesue, did you have constant pain and cramps? the contractions haven't stopped and my hips and back is killing me.

I have been effaced for two weeks, I didn't start dilating till after I was effaced for a week. I was 70% effaced and 1cm last visit which is weird for me because I dilated first last time then effaced. Good luck your way that things will progress, it sucks being stuck not knowing!
