Can you have X-rays and MRI's while pregnant?

if your at a certain point in pregnancy yes. I had one done for my lung at 32 weeks I think. anyways there isn't enough radiation to harm baby but like @jeanetta25 said they will put a shield around your stomach to protect baby. me and baby are okay and have had no problems.

your in the first trimester so they wouldnt reccomend you to do it unless it had to be done but if so like i said they have major precaustions set up to protect baby much as possible @1sttimemomma36

yes you can but only if you really need to !! i had one done at 19 weeks for my lungs they only take one flick amd they will double bag you in lead around your stomch and back to protect baby . they aso use the lowest setting . ive had no problems from it . but once again they only do it if you really need it done . your doctor will tell you the same @1sttimemomma36

they suggest not in ur first trimester I got into a car accident at 5 weeks,and they forbid for me to have one and they knew I hurt my back bad and shoulder
