i was supposed to have dinner at my grandmas later and my boyfriend calls me yesterday to tell me that dinner plans have changed because he has to work late. so i called my mom a little while ago to let her know. and so now dinner is going to be next Saturday. and so my concern is the fact that there is going to be 2 heavy smokers at my grandma's next Saturday. and my mom confessed to me that shed rather smoke than spend time and help me with her grandson. im so heartbroken. i am just at a loss for words. i dont want to break my grandmas heart and tell her "btw i cant come out for dinner cuz my mom doesnt seem to give a shit about her grandson" that would just hurt her too much. it has been months that my boyfriend and i last had dinner with my grandmother who is going to be 83 next month. i just dont know what to do.....
