I'm at a loss. I can't seem to make enough milk for my month old baby! 😞 he breast feeds about 3-4 times a day and still acts hungry after. The rest of the time he gets formula :( makes me so sad I can't breast feed and just getting more discouraged.

Baby may be going through a growth spurt. The first 3 months is really all a huge growth spurt. Baby wanting to nurse more is a sign of that so let him. The more he nurses the more milk you will produce to sustain him as he grows. If he's still making wet diapers then he's fine. We're going through a growth spurt too and she's been latched onto me for almost two days now and the moment she comes off she acts hungry but I know she's getting plenty because I've done weighted feeds and transferred the amount she's had. Keep going, you can do this. It's hard, I know but it'll get better.
Where do you get the hops? Can't you get the rest at the natural food store? @garayserenity how is the tea?
I'm taking hops, goat's rue, and milkies nursing time tea. The tea worked for me the same day I took it. So far this combo has been perfect for me. (I have hypolastic breasts and my milk didn't come in until about 10 days after I had my son

It's true what they say... the more formula you give your baby the less milk you will make. I stopped supplementing with formula and started taking some herbal supplements for myself and now I'm EBF
Yes my left side has faster let down so I do left then to the right then if he acts still hungry I go back to the left. I feel like he nurses forever tho like sometimes 45 minutes to an hour then even after that he still acts hungry. So idk what I'm doing wrong. your baby is better at removing milk. you dont typically see a lot come out unless youre engorged. feeling empty doesnt equal empty. if you can nurse more you'll make more. good luck!

Stop the formula and nurse more. That's not enough.
The milkies tea and goat's Rue I had to order online (milkies.com and motherlove.com, respectively) because I don't have stores hat carry those items in my area and the hops I got at the local vitamin and herb store
