thanks babes.. I went to my midwife appointment yesterday for a sweep and she said my cervix was closed.. does loosing your mucas plug mean it's opening? xx

@gemmaclairex I think losing your plug means it's start to thin out...not totally sure to be honest:) My waters broke first and I didn't see my plug at all xxx

Mucus plug can mean cervix is softening then when u get your bloody show which I had tonnes and tonnes of this week but I don't have any left now was when I was dilating

Could be hours could be days I lost my mucus plug starting ten days ago then the full on bloody show from Tuesday where I was filling a whole pad length with mucus and blood streaked in it the whole thing was bright pink/ red then died down to a little brown yesterday and now im just mucusy all day that's clear

I know I've posted this before but when your water was leaking did it stay leaking or just with movements or what? Did you get contractions shortly after or no? I rolled out of bed and felt warmth leak out but Idk if it was possibly urine or what...never had it happen. It didn't smell like anything really...I know I should either call l&d or go in but I just want some experiences please. I want to wait a bit just in case it's nothing.
