Im in labour @emmaelaine on my way to delivery

So they were really painful by 2am going from my back into my bump, coming every 6-10 mins and lasting a minute each, I felt really sick, and now they've stopped!! 😭 @sara-lou @suzie80 I can't take it!! I'm exhausted !

It had me in tears too. I just got so tired and exhausted. That's when I went in and said I ain't leaving! If it carried on much longer I wouldn't have the energy for actual labour! I was 12days over as well so I wasn't early. I understand they want nature to run its course. I get that. But sometimes we need intervention! Will cross fingers for you 😊

I'm gonna try and get some sleep as they aren't too painful at the mo. Hopefully this progresses as I don't want this to carry on for days! It's had me in tears already 😩 @sara-lou @suzie80

I don't agree with the not being able to talk thing. I could talk pretty much till the end lol. If your doing kk without anything then hold off. But if they become too much and your finding you can't sleep that's when I needed to use mine.

It sounds like bh just getting more intense @emmaelaine as these ones I cannot talk through in fact I completely blank out I have no idea what's going on around me. The pain at times is like I'm being crushed and every part of me hurts. U can try a tens machine after 37 weeks

Oh god @suzie80 that sound horrific! Im not that bad where I'm hanging off things but it's VERY uncomfortable! It's been going on since last Sunday & tonight is significantly worse, but they aren't stopping me talking or what ever, I just concentrate on breathing. I have a TENS machine, do you think I should use it before I know if this is the real thing @sara-lou ? Xx

Possibly @emmaelaine They'll soon start getting more intense and regular if it is. Or like me if waters don't go then it could go on a while. If anyone can go out for you I'd advise a TENS machine. It'll really help if you end up going on like this for days and days.

Mine have started again but irregular but feel like someone is taking a knife across my bump then like a bomb is exploding in my bum and cervix the pain is horrific. I was not long just hanging off the door frame feeling like she was crawling out my back end lol. My back is in pieces. Each day they start like this in the evening the pain is worse each day. I've been bouncing on my ball but it makes the pain worse 😭 im not holding out hope of this being it as I know the pain would be far worse than this

@sara-lou, Just like my experience!

I was in pre labour for 5 painful agonising days before a 10hrs labour and 1 hour of pushing.

I've also got more pressure down below than before x

@sara-lou, @suzie80 I'm getting tightenings regularly I think, they're getting very uncomfortable/painful, they have been going on for about 3 hours now and seem pretty regular. Do you think this could be it? Xx

Ugh I was crying after 5days! My husband went out & got a TENS machine it was the only thing that kept me sane in the end! I went in & said I wasn't going home at that point. I was having regular contractions but my waters just wouldn't go. They had to break them in the end & he was here 6hrs after lol @suzie80

Going out my mind lol @sara-lou it's been 5 days of full on contractions for hours then nothing, I am starving by the morning eat lots by lunch then I'm barely eating the rest of the day due to contractions. I have the tens machine on stand by too

I've tried everything but baby isn't ready to come out, lots of things have helped as I've progressed but nothing has tipped the balance. I just seem to labour quietly for weeks then it goes quickily later. My body is getting ready but baby is holding back. It will be lung development I'm guessing. Not quite there yet. Only thing u can do is drink and eat what u can take regular naps like me and conserve your r energy

5days with my first. How the hell did you last 10days @suzie80 !!! 😲

I've been like this for a week now, I have a sweep booked next Monday, but I don't think I can last another 10 days! It's bloody uncomfortable! I'm drinking raspberry leaf tea & bouncing on my ball. Have you got any ideas for me @suzie80 ? I'm desperate to get things going I'm so uncomfortable & paracetamol, warm baths & hotwater bottles aren't really doing much any more! Xx

My third 10 days till 38 weeks my fourth about the same and this one nearly two weeks already and it gets worse more painful as it goes on. My last two I never dilated even tho I had sweeps before from 37 weeks but I have this time but mainly cos it's my fifth
